Paris Hilton Makes Cameo In The Bling Ring Movie
Director Sofia Coppola's new film The Bling Ring is set to feature a cameo appearance from socialite Paris Hilton - one of the real-life victims of the notorious crime gang, which the film centres upon.
The upcoming movie tells the story of a group of thieves who snatched more than $3 million (1.9 million) worth of goods from properties belonging to Hollywood stars like Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Rachel Bilson, and Orlando Bloom.
Some of the alleged suspects received up to three years in jail for their involvement, inspiring Coppola to tell their tale onscreen, and the filmmaker reveals she even hired Hilton to make an appearance, so the socialite and reality star could feel a connection to the project, according to the New York Daily News.
The drama, which also stars Emma Watson and Leslie Mann, is due to hit theatres in June (13).
