Paris Hilton's 'Stars Are Blind' Gets Some 'Pop Up Video' Love (VIDEO)

Today, the most important thing in music ever has just happened: Paris Hilton's iconic 2006 debut single, "Stars Are Blind," has just been given the "Pop Up Video" treatment. WE ARE NOT WORTHY! Though the hotel heiress has gone on to release a few singles since then, it was Hilton's reggae-tinged lovey-dovey debut that first catapulted the singing socialite to musical superstardom, officially placing her on the same iconic plane as John Lennon and Bob Dylan. (Too far? OK then.)

So what do we learn in this installment? Well, the beachy-keen video, which was shot at Paradise Cove in Malibu and stars an actor that previously appeared in an Alanis Morrissette video, is a tribute to one of director Chris Appelbaum's favorite movies: "Blow-Up," the critically acclaimed 1966 British-Italian mystery film. And here you were thinking Miss Hilton wasn't high-brow. But don't worry, it's not all classic cinema talk up in here: This particular Pop Up's chock full of sassy lil' tidbits regarding Miss Hilton's love life and certain, um, other cinematic ende! avors.

Plus, it wouldn't be a proper Paris production without discussing those pesky members of the paparazzi. They were rabid. So much so that the director tried using massive mirrors and smoke machines to keep them all away, which probably would have been more effective if Hilton didn't stop to take pictures and wave outside her trailer.

If seeing Paris Hilton get the pop-up treatment wasn't enough to burst your bubble, make sure to tune in to new episodes of "Pop Up Video" on VH1, Wednesdays at noon and 12:30 p.m. ET.
