Paris Hilton's aunt Kim Richards has confirmed reports she checked into a rehabilitation centre to treat her alcoholism.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star entered a facility last month to seek help for an undisclosed issue and checked out earlier this month.

After constantly dismissing rumours the hospitalisation was for a drinking problem, she has finally come clean.
