Jon Hamm isnt one to get caught up in media controversies, but that doesnt mean he isnt afraid to speak his mind.

The San Francisco Chronicle reported the Mad Men actor opens up about his thoughts on reality TV stars in ELLE UKs April issue.

"Whether it's Paris Hilton or Kim Kardashian or whoever, stupidity is certainly celebrated. Being a f-cking idiot is a valuable commodity in this culture because you're rewarded significantly, the 40-year-old tells the magazine.

According to Us Weekly, Hamm goes on to explain his confusion over the stars popularities.

He says that it "doesn't make any sense" that reality stars can make so much money. And when talking about himself, Hamm was very humbling, saying that he doesn't "even consider myself handsome."

But whether he likes it or not, theres no denying Hiltons money. And she claims that there is some legitimacy behind her brand.

"I'm involved in my products every step of the way. My fragrances are doing really well at the moment," she told FHM UK in its January issue.

"They've produced more than $1.3 billion in revenue since 2005."

And Kardashians mother, Kris Jenner, defended her millionaire brood last May in Redbook, telling the magazine that her children all have careers.

"It's annoying when I hear, 'What do your girls do?' Well, first of all, all of my daughters have jobs. They are fashion stylists and designers; they own a chain of stores. They had the stores before they had the show," Jenner said.

"And my kids worked from t! he time they were 13 years old. So to me, that's a huge misconception that the girls don't work. They work 25 hours a day."

Wonder if thats enough proof for Hamm.
