J on Hamm isnt backing down from his f--- ing idiots comment about Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton as he makes the talk show rounds boosting the upcoming new season of Mad Men.

On Today, Hamm countered Kardashians comment that his descriptions of her and Hilton were careless.

I dont think they were careless. I think they were accurate. Its a part of our culture that I certainly dont identify with and I dont really understand the appeal of other than in a sort of car crash sensibility.

Its not something that I partake in or enjoy, but it is what it is and here we are.

On

Anderson Coopers syndicated Anderson chatfest, Hamm joked, Its amazing Im in a Twitter feud. I dont have a Twitter account and Im not a big fan of feuding, so its a very strange place to be. Ive learned from several top Hollywood event planners they have been carefully perusing their guest lists for the slew of big parties coming up the next few weeks for various store, restaurant and nightspot openings, plus a number of charity galas.

We just want to make sure we dont have Jon and/or the Kardashians and Paris at the same parties. It could get a bit awkward, said a key L.A. party! planner .

TIGER TAILED: The Big Miss, the new book from Tiger Woods former swing coach Hank Haney, is pretty tough on the golf star. The revelations include numerous examples of Woods being cheap, rude and self-centered.

According to Haney, the once-revered sports icon would rarely pick up a restaurant check and would immediately get up from the table (he is a very fast eater) and expect his entourage to rush out after him.

Haney also recounts how Woods embarrassed a fellow golfer a very devout Christian when forced to share a hotel room. Supposedly, Woods ordered up a 24-hour porn channel and then left the TV on all night.

MAKING MUSIC: Now that shes got that mommy thing under control undoubtedly with an army of helpers! Beyonce is said to be eager to get back out touring, with hubby Jay-Z busily negotiating a mega-millions deal for his talented wife. Speaking of music, Chicago native and jillionaire heir to the Field family fortune Ted Field, who co-founded Interscope and has been a major Hollywood film producer (The Chronicles of Riddick, The Last Samurai, Mr. Hollands Opus, Jumanji) is getting back into the music biz, supposedly working to launch a new label to attract stars who have interests in both singing and acting.TV TALK: For those of us who have hung out at the comfortably shabby Wieners Circle on North Clark Street in Lake View waiting to pick up a couple of Chicago Style char dogs and an order of artery-clogging (but oh, so delish!) cheddar fries the attraction is much more than those guilty-pleasure eats.

Late at night, especially, you get a bit of a show with those dogs and burgers courtesy of the quick-witted and very sassy staff who dont easily suffer fools or slow-ordering c! ustomers . Now America will get in on the fun as the reality show The Wieners Circle debuts on the truTV cable network at 9 p.m. Tuesday.

A mistrial was declared in Nicollette Sheridans wrongful termination lawsuit against her former Desperate Housewives employers after jurors deadlocked 8-4 in favor of the actress.SEEN ON THE SCENE: Zac Efron was the latest Hollywood heartthrob to check out RPM Italian, the eatery co-owned by Giuliana and Bill Rancic and R.J., Molly and Jerrod Melman, where the Hawks Daniel Carcillo and the Bulls Omer Asik also were spied dining separately. Adam West, that 1960s Batman TV icon, was spied at Gibsons in Rosemont on Sunday. Fans of our Super Bowl-winning Bears QB Jim McMaho n were happy to spot him at the Quay Restaurant & Bar. Recent Gibsons on Rush sightings have included Patrick Kane , the Bulls John Lucas and record producer and trance DJ Paul Oakenfold.
