Paris Hilton -- Waving the Rainbow Flag

Paris Hilton gave a subtle apology to the gay community yesterday in Hawaii by sporting a bag adorned with a rainbow flag on it while waiting for her flight back to Los Angeles.

Paris issued a mea culpa last week after a recording was released in which Paris could be heard saying gay men are "disgusting" and that "most of them probably have AIDS."

The heiress apologized online, posting a letter on GLAAD's website, where she said, "Gay people are the strongest and most inspiring people I know."
