Paris Hilton has announced plans for her first ever public DJ set.

The socialite is set to play an hour long set behind the decks at Pop Music Festival in Sao Paulo, Brazil on June 23.

Hilton's set will follow a performance from Jennifer Lopez. Kelly Clarkson, Fatboy Slim, Train and Ziggy Marley are also set to appear at the festival.

Speaking to Billboard about the festival, Hilton said: "I cannot wait to DJ for the first time in front of thousands of people. I have been a part of the music scene and club scene since I was 15. It's something I have been passionate about and have come to respect very much. I am very excited to share all of my hard work with the world."

Hilton has claimed that she is working with Snoop Dogg on a new album. She told the New York Post that she and the rapper are set to collaborate on her new LP, which is the follow-up to her 2006 debut dance-pop solo album 'Paris', and also said she was working with the likes of producer Afrojack and US group LMFAO.
