Paris Hilton is Having More Fun Than Anyone at Cannes

So naturally the blonde heiress has been doing her thing at the Cannes International Film Festival all week.

By "her thing," we mean she's been rolling around on the beach in expensive dresses, walking through sand in sky-high stilettos, and has even managed to sneak in a sexy ride on a merry-go-round. All in a day's work.

Actually, her over-the-top behavior was work. Hilton was doing a shoot with famed photographer Ellen Von Unwerth, so her seductive sand shots with a hunky guy in a suit were just for show. Hilton set the record straight on Twitter: "Before any rumors get started. The guy in my photoshoot with Ellen Von Unwerth today is not a new love interest. Just the model Ellen hired," she wrote.

Okay, so Hilton is probably getting paid to be ridiculous, but there's little doubt she would be behaving differently otherwise. While most stars go to Cannes for the premieres and fancy yacht parties, she shows up for the free press. In 2010, she got everyone's attention by yachting in a ball gown paired with diamo! nds and white Wayfarers, which read "I heart VIP Room." The year before, the blonde modeled the smallest monokini imaginable while showing off her short new 'do and hanging poolside with then-boyfriend Doug Reinhardt. Surprisingly, she didn't make it to the 2011 fest. It was probably because she'd just broken up with her last beau, Cy Waits, and was busy mending her broken heart by moving into her Malibu beach house.

Cannes comes to a close Saturday, so expect Hilton to get in at least one more yacht trip and ridiculous photo shoot before heading back home.
